On July 2019, La Chiva was playing their Fais comme si tour across Europe, Northern Africa and Southeast Asia. From our 10th anniversary vault!
Morocco, Malaysia, Spain, France, Belgium, Italy and many more countries received the band with surprise and joy thanks to their unpredictable mix of latin roots, cumbia, rock, and an original live attitude that few bands have.
One of the most playful performances of the tour was in Burgos, Spain, where the band played the festival Tablero de Música of the Universidad de Burgos.
The band’s energy can be seen at its best when they threw the psychedelic cumbia inspired track Hermano.
Everybody danced, jumped and partied along with this Colombian folklore style song, that also blends the trippy sounds of Tuan Ho Ducs electronic saxophone and Rafael Espinel’s frontman antics.
