“Todo bien” means that it’s all good. Normally a Colombian expression, the whole world can apply it in times of sorrow or crisis, like the ones we live in.
So this new song, coming soon, its an invitation to take it easy, to trust that everything will be alright and that we can overcome any obstacle with a positive mind.
The track came to be thanks to Rafael Espinel’s and La Chiva’s friendship with Congolese artist Jupiter Okwess, who invited the band onstage in Bogota’s Rock Al Parque festival in year 2018.
Additional arrangements and saxophone was played by Tuan Ho Duc of La Chiva Gantiva.
El Callegüeso is also a long friend of the band, with history and origins in Cali, Colombia. His band, La Mambanegra, shares very much with La Chiva Gantiva and its style.
